According to Article 8 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that “Everyone has the right to an effective remedy by the competent national tribunals for acts violating the fundamental rights granted him by the constitution or by law.” Efficient justice system not only holds individuals and state officials accountable, but also sets the norms of behaviour for all citizens enshrined in the national legal frameworks.
Children Protection
The overall aims of Child Protection are to ensure the child is safe and prevent him or her from suffering further harm this is done by supporting, addressing the vulnerabilities and risk factors and helping to meet unmet needs of children, to promote the child's welfare, health and development. This helps to reduce their vulnerability in harmful situations. It also means protecting children against social, psychological and emotional insecurity and distress.
Our aim is to promote economic, environmental and social needs, allowing prosperity for now and future generations, these include social progress and equality, environmental protection, conservation of natural resources and stable economic growth.
We believe empowerment is a transformative journey that enables individuals to take charge of their own destinies. We empower the youth and women by helping them confront their circumstances head-on and providing them with the resources they need to progress. Through our process, individuals undergo a profound shift in consciousness, redefining their beliefs, values, and attitudes. This journey fosters independence, resilience, and self-determination, empowering individuals to confidently navigate life's challenges with purpose.
Climate change
The relationship between humanity and the environment is a delicate balance. Since the industrial revolution, the world's population has increased exponentially, and with the population growth, the environment has been profoundly affected. Deforestation, pollution and global climate changes are amongst the adverse effects the population and technological expansion has introduced.
Agriculture
In our agricultural program, we specialize in providing comprehensive training in garden and urban farming techniques. Through hands-on learning experiences and expert guidance, participants learn the essential skills and knowledge needed to cultivate thriving gardens and sustainable urban farms. Whether you're a beginner looking to start your own backyard garden or an urban dweller interested in cultivating fresh produce in limited spaces, our program equips you with the tools and know-how to transform your vision into a reality. Join us as we explore the wonders of agriculture and empower individuals to grow their own food sustainably.
Youth Mentorship
Empowering Christians to become more effective in their Kingdom work through mentoring is the primary objective of YDHRA. We equip both established and emerging ministries through our consulting and training services. Our focus is on helping churches and nonprofits develop safe, effective and sustainable mentoring ministries for youth, families and adults. We work with ministry teams in designing, equipping and implementing mentoring programs that fit their vision in their communities.
